On June 14, Széchenyi Square buzzed with activity as the ReGreenX project launched its inaugural festival, welcoming visitors of all ages to explore the world of urban greenery. The day was packed with scientific talks, panel discussions, family-friendly activities, and interactive exhibits—all centered around one urgent question: how can we keep our environment green?

Climate change has arrived. Under this title, a temporary open-air exhibition opened in June on Klauzál Square thanks to the ReGreenX project, where some examples of the more than 2,000 trees that have died in the city’s public spaces over the past year were put on display.
