Fuenlabrada

The motor group of the Continuous Participatory Evaluation of Project SHARE participated in the 4th Congress of Home Care: Innovation and Community Care, held on May 29 and 30 in Fuenlabrada. Through an information stand and engagement activities, the group gathered input from professionals and civil society to inform future actions in community and home-based care.

The International Association for Social Work with Groups (IASWG) hosted a presentation of the SHARE Project's Continuous Participatory Action Evaluation model at its Virtual Symposium in 2025.

On May 19, the SHARE Project was formally presented to the public at a well-attended event in Fuenlabrada’s Town Hall assembly hall. The session, which attracted around 200 residents, included the announcement of the winning design for the San Esteban school renovation, details on access criteria for future residents, and an open dialogue with citizens. The event marked a key step in building transparency and public engagement around this innovative, EUI-co-financed initiative.

On May 19, the SHARE Project held an awards ceremony to recognize the winners of its architectural competition. Held in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere, the event brought together city officials, national leaders, and architectural professionals to honor the creativity and vision of all participating teams. The winning proposal by Entresitio was celebrated for its innovation in reimagining public spaces in line with the New European Bauhaus initiative.
