Introductory Meeting with MAG-NET's Transfer Partners

Between 21 and 22 October 2025, the City of Celje hosted a meeting of transfer and local partners of the European project MAG-NET, dedicated to introducing and networking project teams as well as planning the next steps of the MAG-NET initiative.

The event was organised by the City Municipality of Celje in cooperation with local project partners. The meeting welcomed transfer partners from Košice (Slovakia), Nardò (Italy) and Varaždin (Croatia), who had the opportunity to get to know the local environment and learn about the planned innovative approaches of the MAG-NET alliance aimed at co-creating greener and more connected urban communities.

The first day’s programme included presentations by project partners and discussions on MAG-NET’s urban challenges, followed by a visit to Celje Old Castle, while the second day featured workshops focused on jointly planning the transfer of knowledge and experiences to partner cities.

The introductory meeting strengthened cooperation among cities and organisations and reinforced the idea of jointly seeking solutions for a sustainable future of European cities – cities that work for the well-being of their residents.
