Introductory Meeting of the MAG-NET Teams
In the opening part, partners from the Institute for Innovation and Development (IRI) of University of Ljubljana presented to the participants the methodology that serves as the foundation for further work and as the basis for the successful implementation of the project. This was followed by presentations from the challenge leaders and their teams, who introduced themselves and focused primarily on the content of each challenge and the goals they aim to achieve during the project.
The main part of the meeting was a step-by-step workshop based on the methodology for each challenge, facilitated by representatives of another project partner — the Institute for Spatial Policies (IPoP). The workshop was structured around four analytical steps: defining the challenge, fieldwork, participatory design of solutions, and prototyping, testing, and implementation of selected solutions. These discussions led to lively debates at each table, generating valuable and practical guidelines for high-quality work in the future.
The meeting concluded with a joint reflection and risk identification session, where participants had the opportunity to share their impressions, opinions, and concerns. They concluded that the challenges are deeply interconnected and that their successful addressing and resolution will require precision, efficiency, and creativity — above all, mutual cooperation both within individual challenges and among all participants.
